What's up y'all my name is Coach Humpherys and I am an assistant coach for the Big Bend Community College wrestling team. We are starting to recruit heavily from Idaho, and if any of y'all have kids who are interested in competing at the next level, comment on this post and lets talk. Big Bend is a great school with both two year and four year degrees, and is super affordable. We have an emerging team, and Juco is a great way to refine your skills on the way to an offer from a higher level school!

Nice to see Jensen get in to the top 6. I was scratching my head on why the Borah kid was ahead, Madison kid destroyed him twice.

I would like to see top ranked kids in idaho for each weight....? Not just by class.

So you put Troy Grizzle over Kody Biggs and Max Osmond at 5A 195, all because Kody had a Medical Forfeit at the last tourney? Something is definitely not right with your rankings. So far this season, Kody has beaten Grizzle 3 times and because of 1 medical forfeit you bump Troy up? I could understand you stretching to put Troy above Max from Owyhee, but Kody is still a solid 4th spot.

And between Troy and Max, I personally put Max ahead because of his better showing at both Rollie Lane and Tiger Grizz. Tourneys they both competed at. As well as late in this season, Troy has been loosing to wrestlers that Max has beaten.

From the Magic Valley, I agree that Minico and Buhl are two amazing teams. Minico went crazy this weekend crushing it in the tourney they went to and beat out 5A #3 Nampa by nearly 40 points. Buhl is amazing but they’ve struggled against District 5 teams such as Marsh Valley and American Falls. In girls Canyon Ridge has struggled lately. Filer and Mountain Homes have some solid girls but not enough for a team championship. Canyon Ridge is for sure the best girls team in District 4.

Think about plugging Nielse in at 152 🤞🏻 he’s cleared before districts. 😉

Disagree on 145lb. But I could just be Bias. I agree for top 2 spots. But I believe another name should've been on the list. But hey just a mom giving her two

No new rankings this week do to holidays (inactivity). The guys are doing a good job especially considering they are doing it across all divisions. I look forward each week to seeing the new rankings don't agree with all but find them informative. Since they were not done this week thought I would give my 5A rankings. Another voice.
